Las operaciones habituales (oxidaci\u00f3n, soplado de gases de combusti\u00f3n) y la contaminaci\u00f3n ambiental aumentan la acidez de los lubricantes (lo que disminuye el pH).<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"BasicParagraph\" style=\"line-height: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif';\">La mayor\u00eda de los aceites contienen aditivos detergentes y antioxidantes para neutralizar el \u00e1cido. Cuando estos aditivos se agotan, el lubricante deja de proteger los componentes internos de la corrosi\u00f3n.
