Debshaw brings more than 25 years of entrepreneurial and business management experience to the POLARIS Laboratories® senior management team. As a senior business consultant to Indiana University-Purdue University’s Small Business Development Center for five years, Debshaw was instrumental in developing and implementing loan programs for minorities, securing more than $20 million in business financing. Two years after joining POLARIS Laboratories® was a finalist for Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Debshaw holds a Bachelor of Science degree in management and finance from Indiana State University in Terre Haute.
White has more than 25 years’ experience in laboratory testing, production and management. White spent two years developing applied methods for coal liquefaction at the Kentucky Center for Energy and Research. With the Remote Bar Coding Facilities Research and Development Site for the U.S. Postal Service, White’s primary focus was quality, accuracy and turnaround time. This knowledge and experience has provided the fundamental framework for the POLARIS Laboratories® Quality System and is the backbone of POLARIS Laboratories®’ consecutive ISO 17025 A2LA accreditations since 2003. White holds a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Louisville.
After joining the team in 2012 as a Laboratory Technician, Carrie moved up to Laboratory Operations Manager and then Senior Manager of North American Laboratory Operations. Carrie works to develop, improve and monitor the North American Laboratory’s operations and compliance with ISO 17025.
Charlie joined the team in 2009 as the Director of Laboratory Operations before transitioning to Director of Global Operations. Using his expertise, Charlie ensures our global sites are all performing at the highest possible standard and level of compliance.
With over 25 years of experience in communications, Michael leads a number of POLARIS Laboratories® teams as they work to execute their strategic company objectives and improve the customer experience. Michael is experienced in developing and executing creative campaigns for both business-to-business or business-to-consumer enterprises and clients.
Brett has decades of fluid analysis and sales experience with multiple nationally recognized companies. Brett has been an area general manager for Stewart & Stevenson, a distributor for Detroit Diesel and Allison products. He also served as general manager for Oklahoma operations for a Cummins distributor, marketing manager for Ferodo America, a national account manager for Fleetguard, Inc., and a partner in Lubricon.
Robin leads a team of ten data analysts as they analyze customer samples, providing maintenance recommendations and technical customer support. Joining the company in 2005, Robin understands every facet of the business and can provide detailed insight on testing oil, coolant and diesel fuel.
As the application development manager, Ryan oversees open-source development and IT Operations. Harnessing the ingenuity of his team, Ryan has spearheaded the development of the HORIZON® app and the DataConnect system. As program manager, Ryan works to develop innovative technology with the intent of improving the customer experience.
For over 15 years, Jessie as provided strong leadership while executing a program designed to improve customer experience. Jessie is an effective manager who uses her skill in business to implement a number of successful process improvements to ensure POLARIS Laboratories® exceeds customers’ expectations.
J.D. joined the POLARIS Laboratories® team in 2014 as the Quality and Safety Manager. As the Manager of Quality and Operational Excellence, J.D. leads a team of quality professionals as they work to improve the operation of the laboratory while ensuring quality. J.D. works to ensure that POLARIS Laboratories® complies with ISO 17025.
Lisa has been the company’s accounting manager for over ten years, managing the company’s largest accounts and providing sound financial advice to team members as they plan for their yearly budgets.
Julie joined the POLARIS Laboratories® team in 2015 as the Director of Human Resources. Using her diverse background and experience with HR, Julie helps ensure new employees successfully transition into the office while building a strong culture across the company.
