POLARIS Laboratories, LLC (“POLARIS Laboratories^®”) does not sell your personal information for money. We also do not use personal information for targeted advertising or profiling at this time.

Some state privacy laws still treat certain sharing of personal information as a “sale” or “share.” You can opt out of that activity in two ways: automatically through Global Privacy Control (GPC), or by submitting the form on this page.

Global Privacy Control (GPC)

GPC is a setting in some browsers and browser extensions. When it is on, your browser tells websites not to sell or share your personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

POLARIS Laboratories^® honors a valid GPC signal automatically. If GPC is enabled in your browser, you do not need to use this form. We will decline non-essential cookies and related tracking for that browser and show a short on-screen confirmation.

A GPC opt-out applies only to the browser that sent the signal. It does not automatically apply to other browsers, devices, or apps. If you clear cookies, the signal will be applied again the next time you visit in that browser.

How to turn on GPC

GPC is built into some browsers (including Brave and DuckDuckGo, and it can be turned on in Firefox under Settings → Privacy & Security → “Tell websites not to sell or share my data”). It is also available through certain browser extensions. Learn more at globalprivacycontrol.org.

Submit an opt-out request without GPC

If your browser does not send a GPC signal, or you want a request that is not limited to one browser, use the form below. We will use the information you provide only to process and verify your request.

This form is an opt-out of sale or sharing. It is not a request to delete your account, sample history, or other records we keep to provide oil analysis and related services.

What this opt-out does not cover

An opt-out does not stop POLARIS Laboratories^® from:

• Using your information to provide the services you requested, including sample processing, reporting, billing, and account support
• Sharing information with service providers who help us operate the website and services
• Sending service-related messages (account, order, security, or product notices)
• Disclosing information when required by law

You can still manage cookies at any time through the cookie settings link on this site. You may still receive marketing email until you unsubscribe using the link in those messages or by contacting us.

Do Not Track (DNT)

GPC is not the same as the older “Do Not Track” (DNT) browser signal. POLARIS Laboratories^® does not respond to DNT signals. We do honor GPC.
