The POLARIS Laboratories® Fluid Analysis Program Champion Award is an annual award presented to a company that has demonstrated a widespread ability to apply proven impact, uptime and savings to their fluid analysis program. These customers have leveraged fluid analysis to improve the performance of their maintenance and asset reliability programs.
What is the Nomination Criteria?
- 25+ samples per month
- Evaluations based on:
- Data (sample volume and compliance)
- Technology (online sample submission)
- People (program champion)
- Innovation (process improvements)
- Process (program reviews and compliance rate)
- Value (positive behavior changes in daily practices)
What is the Nomination Process?
Companies can be self-nominated by their program champion, by a marketer or distributor or by their Account Manager. To better represent POLARIS Laboratories’ vast range of fluid analysis customers, there are two categories based on number of components within the program.

After nominations are received, POLARIS Laboratories® management selects two finalists in each category and ultimately one winner in each category is selected.
During the selection process, we look at these indications of top-performing programs:
- Engagement
- Accountability
- Compliance
- Technology
Finalist Participation
Programs selected as finalists for the Program Champion Awards will be recognized for their achievements and can participate in additional opportunities with POLARIS Laboratories®.
